M2 or M235i(the one in video)? becuz i sold this car for a 2017 M2 6speed, one of the best car i've ever owned, did all maintenence myself, drove for 40k miles and was over the stick, and now i'm in an i4. for the price the OG M2 in a stick is the best M car to buy, i'd def own another if i had the money, and build it, for now i just wanna save. no it was not costly to fix, but until 60k miles i didn't have any issues and maintained it all myself, its an easy car to work on

yeah its the B58 straight 6 engine- although they are pretty quiet from stock -even valve open its not too loud- i use ours as our family car and remapped the b58 to 430bhp . It sounds so good! I have a 2018 m550 ATM, I'm looking in to the m850i, M8 or 840. Prices have dropped in to fairly good ranges on all of them so just deciding more what I want in the car on a daily basis. My buddy has a convertible m850 and he loves it. I'm thinking maybe to not spend the extra 20 or so G on an M8 and just settle for her m850i. His is way quicker then my m550i. The m550i is no slouch but I've really fallen in love w the looks of the m850 and m8 and definitely wanna upgrade to either. almost 2 years 0 issues, only regular maintenence , but i dnt beat up the car just casually speed here and there

@@Rickr1ck99 charge pipe was already done when i purchased car, it's a must trust me, if you're flying high speed and boosting hard it'll pop off, and i did valve cover too(it's typically done around 40-60 i believe, and i just did mine at 42k, other than that it runs great other than my funky idle(which is a common thing with the intake i have, and it's the intake becuz when i took it off it ran smoothly lol all it is is running more rich 😂but it sounds cool so idc lmao

@@KareemKayy Thanks for all that! I knew I had to change the charge pipe, but didn’t know when, so i guess it’s going to be on top of the list! I’m currently at 26k now but I will definitely change the valve cover too. Thanks again for the advice🙏🙏

def not worth the price, there's a lot of preowned BMW's you can get for that price, i've seen plenty of 2018-2019 M550i for around the same mileage go for that price🤷🏻‍♂️ even seen a 2020 740i with 20k miles for 39k , im telling you this car ain't worth it at all , id pay 20k for it at most
